Barbara (Flora) and Gary Womelsdorf, of Muncy observed their 60th wedding anniversary May 21,2026.

They were married by the Rev. Clay Reed at Trinity United Church of Christ, Strawberry Ridge.They are members of Messiah Lutheran Church, Clarkstown.

Mrs. Womelsdorf, a native of Montour County, graduated from Warrior Run High School. She retired in 2011 from Muncy Post Office as a rural carrier after 25 years service.

Mr. Womelsdorf, a native of Moreland Township, graduated from Hughesville High school. He retired in 2008 from Andritz-Durametal.

They are the parents of two daughters, Amy Andersen, of Pine Grove, and Joy Garverick, of Linden.There are two grandsons and one granddaughter.

In honor of their anniversary, they went on a cruise and the family honored them with a dinner at The Inn at Turkey Hill at Bloomsburg.
