Linda Marie (Leo) and Thomas Winter, Sr., of Williamsport, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 28, 2026.

They were married by the Rev. Alphonsos Manley at Mater Dolorosa Church. They are members of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

Mrs. Winter, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Shirley and John Leo. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1965. She retired in 2011 from United Churches of Lycoming County as a secretary.

Mr. Winter, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Catherine and Clair Winter. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1963 and the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1975. He served in the Army National Guard. He retired in 2009 from Truck Lite Co. Inc., McElhattan, as a quality engineer.

They are the parents of a son, Thomas Winter Jr. (Amanda), of Lake Wylie, SC, and three daughters, Mindy Kramer (Paul), Wellsboro, and Erin Brouse (Dustin) and Ashley Werner (Kevin), both of Williamsport.

They have 14 grandchildren.

The couple was celebrated during a recent family dinner to honor their anniversary.
