Rosemarie (Parker) and John Banzhaf Sr. will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on May 22, 2026.

They were married by Rev. Bailey at Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Banzhaf is a native of Williamsport and the daughter of the late Ida and Carl Parker Sr. Rose graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1976 and is now retired.

Mr. Banzhaf, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Mary and Jack Banzhaf. John graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1974. He is retired from 49 years at Williamsport Sanitary Authority.

They are the parents of two sons, John Jr. and Joseph Banzhaf. They also have two granddaughters, Leah and Emma Banzhaf.
