Richard and Nancy Thursby were married June 12, 1976 by the late Rev Dr. Charles Heaps at Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville.

Nancy, a native of Montoursville, is the daughter of the late Donald and Jean Robbins. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School and retired from Weis Markets (Scot’s Lo Cost).

Richard, a native of Muncy, is the son of the late John and Ethel Thursby. He graduated from Muncy High School and retired from Allstate Insurance.

They are the proud parents of a son, Robert Thursby (Heidi) of Williamsport, and daughter Christie Fry (Kevin) of Loyalsock. They have 3 granddaughters that they love dearly, Gabrielle Thursby, Maryn Fry and Raegan Fry.

A 50th Anniversary Party is being planned by their children to celebrate with their closest family and friends.
