Jeffery and Shirley Raisch will celebrate their 50th anniversary on August 24.
They were married in 1976. Shirley, the former Shirley Elliott. Graduated from Towanda High and retired from Penn Wire Rope as chief quality inspector. Jeff is a native of Williamsport and received a bachelor's degree from Lock Haven University and a master's degree from Penn State. He retired as a forest ranger from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
They are the proud parents of three sons, Michael, Samuel and the late Lance. A two-week vacation is planned in West Virginia.
