Dean & Sharon (Schreppel) Vassallo will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 11, 2026.
Dean and Sharon were married on September 11, 1976, at First Baptist Church in Williamsport, Pa., by Dr. George Cosper. Both natives of Williamsport, they have shared five decades of marriage, family and cherished memories.
Dean is the son of the late Daniel and Nancy Vassallo. He attended Williamsport High School and graduated in 1974. He retired from Vassallo Engineering & Surveying in 2021.
Sharon is the daughter of Charlotte Schreppel and the late Lewis Schreppel. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1975.
The couple has three children: Michael Vassallo (Kim), Beaver, Pa.; Katie Rhoades (Bradi), Volant, Pa.; and Sarah Mort (Dare), New Castle, Pa. They are blessed with four grandchildren, Lyndlea, Eston, Chase and Kendall, and two step-grandchildren, Julia and Andrew.
Dean and Sharon currently reside in New Wilmington, Pa., where they enjoy being close to their children and grandchildren. They especially enjoy spending time together with family and celebrating the many special moments that come with being grandparents.
As they celebrate 50 years of marriage, Dean and Sharon are grateful for the love, family and memories they have shared throughout the years.
