Announcement has been made of the engagement of Chelsey Erb and Ryan Johnston, both of Mechanicsburg.
An Aug. 5 wedding as the Excelsior, Lancaster, is being planned.
Erb is the daughter of Laurie and John Erb, of Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2009 and received a bachelor's degree in business management from Penn State University in 2013. She is employed by People Share as a recruit/account manager.
Johnston is the son of Dianne and Mark Johnston, of Phillipsburg. He graduated from Phillipsburg-Osceola High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in security and risk analysis from Penn State University in 2010. He is employed by Federad Insurance as a risk consultant.
