Jillian Jackson and Justin Ruiz, both of Charlotte, North Carolina are pleased to announce their engagement. The couple will be married on July 10, at Messiah Lutheran Church with a reception to follow at the Williamsport Country Club.
Jillian is the daughter of Michele Jackson of Williamsport and Brian Jackson of South Williamsport. She is a 2012 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School. Jillian received a Bachelor of Arts in communicative disorders with minors in linguistics and psychology from West Chester University in 2015, and received a Master of Science in communication sciences and disorders from East Stroudsburg University in 2017. She is employed as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Cabarrus County Schools.
Justin Ruiz is the son of Barbara Ruiz of Hobart, Ind., and Manuel Ruiz of St. John, Ind. He is a 2009 graduate of Portage Area High School. Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in physics in 2013, and a Master of Science in therapeutic medical physics in 2015, both from Purdue University. He completed his residency in radiation therapy physics at Geisinger Medical Center. Justin is employed as a radiation physicist by Atrium Health.
