Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Paternostro, of Montoursville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter LeAnn Rae, of Montoursville, to Julio Isaac Pina Plata, of Lancaster.
Julio Isaac is the son of Julio Pina and Dellys Plata Medina of Barahona, Dominican Republic.
LeAnn graduated from the South Williamsport Area High School in 2015 and received a Cosmetology License from Barone Beauty Academy in 2016 and is employed locally.
Julio Isaac graduated from Cristo Rey Secondary High School in 2010. While he was too young to attend college, he volunteered his time at The Helping Hands Centre Orphanage in Barahona. In 2013, he attended the University of Santo Domingo to pursue a career in medicine.
He came to the United States to further his medical career and is currently employed at UPMC Harrisburg as an electrocardiogram technician in the Intensive Care Unit.
Julio Isaac is attending Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences to obtain his degree as a registered nurse with future plans to become a nurse anesthetist.
LeAnn and Julio Isaac will be married in May at Herman & Luther's with a reception to follow.
