Announcement has been made of the engagement of Emily Sholder and Garrett Albert, both of Philadelphia.

An October, 2025 wedding in the Philadelphia area is being planned.

Sholder is the daughter of Stephen and Diane Sholder of Williamsport. She graduated from St. John Neumann Regional Academy in 2014. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villanova University in 2018 and a master’s degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in 2023. She is employed by Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s Transplant Institute as a family nurse practitioner.

Albert is the son of Blace and Kelly Albert of Jacksonville, Fla. He graduated from Carlisle High School in 2014. He received a bachelor’s degree in geology from The University of Pittsburgh in 2018. He is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Philadelphia as a hydrographic and topographic surveyor.
