Announcement has been made of the engagement of Dacia James of Wayne and James Gardner of Williamsport.

Dacia is the daughter of Michelle Miller, of Jamaica. She graduated from Lower Merion High School in 2015. Delaware Community College in 2018 and Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2022. She is employed as a dental hygienist at Bryn Mawr Dental Associates, Bryn Mawr.

James is the son of Mike and April Gardner of Williamsport. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2015, he received a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, Schreyer Honors College in 2019, and a master’s degree from Bloomsburg University in 2023. He is employed as a social studies teacher with the Loyalsock Township School District.

A July 11, 2025 wedding at Stone Mill Inn, Hallam is being planned.
