The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., is partnering with State Rep. Jamie Flick, R-South Williamsport, to host a Kids Safe Symposium from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the Library.
There will be a meet-and-greet with Rep. Jamie Flick, and the Lycoming County Coroner's Office will provide various resources regarding Kid Safety.
The event will feature a Bike Safety Rodeo course presented by Safe Kids PA Lycoming County. Kids are encouraged to bring their own bike, but those who do not have a bike can still participate in the rodeo. Participants will learn about bike helmets, hand signals, and other safety measures.
The library will have a booth set up to share its summer learning initiatives and more, and several local organizations will be on hand providing information about safety, health and wellness.
