The Rotary Club of Montoursville was able to donate proceeds – $1,200 – from dance events to the Shirati Partnership recently at at Faddies Ice Cream in Montoursville. The club raised the money by hosting monthly ballroom dance events. The Shirati Partnership is made up of members of the UPMC Hospice and Palliative Care team, and members of the Shirati palliative care team in Tanzania. Not only do team members discuss clinical cases online, but also they provide emotional, spiritual, and financial support. All funding for the organization is via donations.
