Auxiliary council discusses programs

The Centre, Lycoming and Clinton Council for the American Legion Auxiliary's June meeting was hosted by members of American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Unit #623 of Beech Creek.

ALA members from all three counties attended. According to a news release, members shared tons of information on programs that they participate in for our veterans, our troops, their families and their communities, in the "Spirit of Service Not Self."

Carol Wert Walker, Department of Pennsylvania's American Legion Auxiliary's District President of Centre, Lycoming and Clinton presented 100% Membership Goal Certificates and Goal Pins to ALA Units who were present at this meeting, and had reached their membership goal as of ALA Spring Conference that was held in April in Harrisburg.

The next Centre, Lycoming and Clinton Council will be hosted by American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 893 of Milesburg. ALA Unit members are urged to contact their local ALA Unit to make reservations to attend.
