The second annual Central Pennsylvania Bigfoot and Cryptid Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 3, at the All Homes Day Park, Memorial Avenue, Elysburg.
"Pennsylvania is the third highest state in bigfoot reports with Washington and California being first and second," Festival organizer Gwendolyn Purcell said, according to a news release. "There are a lot of festivals and conferences on the western side of the state. I wanted to bring something closer to home so people interested in the subject, could attend."
Bigfoot guest speakers will include Jami and Jenni King, Bill Rigby, Michael Cook who has been featured on Travel Channel's 'These Woods are Haunted," Les O'Dell and Sharon Buck.
Over 85 vendors and seven Food trucks will be at the event. Several costumed creatures will be on hand including: Bigfoot, Mothman, a wendigo and more.
