Hibernian of the Year named

The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division One, Lycoming County, recently held its annual Hibernian of the Year award ceremony in Monsignor Fleming Hall at St. Joseph the Worker Parish. The recipient of this year's award, Jack McKernan received the award for his service, contributions and dedication to the Order and for his service to the community at large. Division President Christopher Norris said: "He is the very exemplification of our motto of 'Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity'. His selfless work, his contributions and his love of the Order are a credit to his family, his faith and his Irish heritage."
