Friends of the JV Brown Library will present a book review with Dr. Keith Shenberger from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., Feb. 7 in the Lowry Room on the third floor of the library's Welch Family Wing.
Shenberger will review Bloody Dawn --the Christiana Riot and Racial Violence in the Antebellum North by Thomas P. Slaughter, according to a news release.
Snacks and bottled water will be available or participants can bring a bag lunch, if desired. The program will include a "Q&A" session until 1 p.m.
The news release encourages anyone interested to reserve a seat by calling the library at 570-326-0536, or use the library's online reservation calendar (http://calendar.jvbrown.edu).
Reservations are required due to space considerations and must be made before 3 p.m. on Feb. 5.
