Buggy Day Street Fair returning

"Mark your calendars and bring the whole family to the 2025 Mifflinburg Buggy Day Street Fair -- a full day of festivities celebrating the town's proud buggy-making tradition and small-town charm," a news release said.
The event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 14, spans Market and 5th streets and the historic Buggy Museum Complex, 598 Green St. This annual street fair "brings history to life with guided tours, live entertainment, hands-on activities, and community spirit -- and this year's event promises more to see, do, and discover than ever before," the news release said.
One new feature this year is Buggy Day Passports -- participants can pick up their passport at the Buggy Museum Complex and have it stamped at each of the guided tour sites, including the 1880s Buggymaker's House, Carriage House, Buggy Factory, and the two-story Repository (buggy showroom). Completed passports will be entered into a drawing for one of several gift baskets valued at $100 or more.
According to the news release, the festival also includes horse-drawn buggy rides, the Buggy Bark Dog Contest, goat petting, special guests including the Union County West End Fair Queen and the royalty court, Pennsylvania Honey Queen, and Dairy Princesses, Old Masters photo opportunities, live music, the Victorian High Wheelers, blacksmithing, buggy painting, chainsaw woodcarving, lace making, hit-and-miss engine demonstrations, face painting, balloon art and vendors.
