August class at Eagle Grange to teach salsa canning

“If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to preserve your own fruits and vegetables by traditional canning, that opportunity waits for you at a Salsa Canning Class on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. hosted by Eagle Grange in the Grange Hall, 32 East Blind Road, Montgomery,” a news release said. “The public is invited to participate.”

Led by a certified instructor from Penn State Cooperative Extension, “the hands-on class will show participants how to prepare fresh produce from the garden into the popular condiment salsa and then safely preserve it by the water bath canning method,” the news release continued.
