Anti-trafficking group receives grant

Fierce Love 4 Good recently announced that it has received a generous grant from the Century Fund for Human Services Grant Program at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania.

“With the support of partners like FCFP, it will allow us to continue to purchase supplies to meet the ever-growing demand for our Angel packs, and assist us in continuing to spread public awareness of human trafficking,” a news release from Fierce Love 4 Good said.

“We are deeply grateful for FCFP’s belief in our mission,” said Susan Evans-Nogler, director and president of Fierce Love 4 Good, according to the news release. “This grant will allow us to support law enforcement, hospitals, restorative care programs, and numerous other organizations as they provide care to survivors of human trafficking throughout Pennsylvania.”

“Under the Angel Pack Partnership Program our mission is to help survivors of sex trafficking by providing immediate support through essential clothing and self-care packs; fostering dignity, safety and a pathway to recovery; to bring awareness and education to the importance of safeguarding both children and adults from becoming victimized by traffickers, and to make a difference through unifying with those who are speaking out and working against human trafficking,” the news release said. “With the support of FCFP, Fierce Love 4 Good can continue to have a positive impact on our communities throughout PA by providing preventive education and public awareness of human trafficking risks to a wide age demographic, creating volunteer and giving opportunities for those who desire to make a difference in the area of human trafficking and by fostering methods of compassionate, trauma informed care.”
