‘Martha Washington’ to visit Williamsport

James V. Brown Library gets 3 grants from different funds

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., recently was the recipient of three grants from the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania. The first grant was $9,142 from the Edward D. Neff Fund; the second was $8,821 from the Paul M. Neff Fund; and the third grant was $273 from the Poet Owl Fund. The Poet Owl grant is specifically for nature or natural history-oriented materials for children and young adults. Mia Anderson of the Green Free Library is presenting a Deane Little Beans program Saturday, March 14 from noon to 1 p.m. in the lobby at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts, 104 Main St., Wellsboro.
