Museum program focuses on women’s suffrage movement

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will host a lecture by Amanda Owen at 2 p.m., Sept. 21. Museum to host program on Laquin Civilian Conservation Corps camp

The LeRoy Heritage Museum will host a program titled, “Laying a Foundation for the Future: Laquin C.C.C. Camp S-103,” at 1:30 p.m., Aug. 30. According to a news release, Museum President Matt Carl will present a new program focusing on the Civilian Conservation Corps camp at Laquin, and the work performed by the men of the camp on Barclay Mountain and along the Schrader Creek.
