Campground to host Kids Safety Day

Hidden Creek Campground will host their Safe Kids fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, according to a news release from state trooper Lauren Lesher. The event is free and open to the public. Children attending the event will have the opportunity to ‘Touch a Truck,’ during which they can explore real emergency vehicles, including fire trucks, and get the chance to speak with first responders, the release said. Museum offers free tours for library cardholders

As part of the James V. Brown Library’s Summer Learning Program, the World of Little League Museum will offer free tours on Sundays during the eight-week program. Each Sunday from now through August 3rd, the World of Little League Museum, 525 Montgomery Pike (U.S. 15) in South Williamsport will offer free admission to Lycoming County residents who show their Library card. Rotary’s regional district to install local woman as governor

The Williamsport Rotary Club will host the Rotary District 7360 Governor installation ceremony at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 29 at the Williamsport Holiday Inn. The lunch and installation will be followed by dessert at the Little League Museum. Dawn Linn, Williamsport Rotary member, will be stalled as the new District 7360 governor.
