Library to host tea party fundraiser

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will partner with Tria Prima Tea Shop to host the Library’s first-ever fundraising tea party from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Library. The theme is “Full of Flowers,” and attendees are encouraged to wear floral attire. Guests will enjoy high tea and treats from Tria Prima and tea-themed activities while supporting the Library. James V Brown Library expands Wonderbooks collection

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., recently expanded its Wonderbooks collection to add nearly 50 Wonderbooks to the tween and teen collection, and 20 to the adult collection. The Library previously offered Wonderbooks for children. Wonderbooks are print books with a ready-to-play audiobook inside. Users can press play to read along with their favorite books and then switch to learning mode for literacy learning and fun.
