James V Brown Library expands Wonderbooks collection

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., recently expanded its Wonderbooks collection to add nearly 50 Wonderbooks to the tween and teen collection, and 20 to the adult collection. The Library previously offered Wonderbooks for children. Wonderbooks are print books with a ready-to-play audiobook inside. Users can press play to read along with their favorite books and then switch to learning mode for literacy learning and fun. Library continues Plot Twisters writing program

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will continue its Plot Twisters creative writing program in 2025. This program was created to celebrate National Novel Writing Month in November 2024. Now it is offered to adults who are interested in a laid-back atmosphere with other writers. Participants work on journaling, poetry, novels, and more during this program.
