PENNSDALE — The Susquehanna Film Festival recently announced its official screening schedule, which will feature films from 11 Pennsylvania-based directors, as well as 21 films in multiple genres from the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The LeRoy Heritage Museum will host a program titled, “Laying a Foundation for the Future: Laquin C.C.C. Camp S-103,” at 1:30 p.m., Aug. 30. According to a news release, Museum President Matt Carl will present a new program focusing on the Civilian Conservation Corps camp at Laquin, and the work performed by the men of the camp on Barclay Mountain and along the Schrader Creek.
