Briggs Farm organizers plan May concert in Nescopeck
Briggs Farm Concerts invites fans back to live music with a free concert at 7 p.m. May 14 at the Nescopeck Township Fire Hall. Featuring headliner Dustin Douglas & The Electric Gentlemen, this concert is being presented to thank fans of the long-running Briggs Farm Blues Festival for their continued support over the past year and for their eagerness to return to live music, a news release said.
The event will offer indoor and outdoor seating, food sales benefitting the Nescopeck Township Fire Co. and craft beer sales by Berwick Brewing.
“It’s going to be a fun, energetic night of great music — and it’s about time for it,” Dena Briggs, spokeswoman for Briggs Farm Concerts said, according to the news release.
Doors will open at 6 p.m.Regional favorites Low Hanging Fruit will also perform. Tickets for Briggs Farm Blues Festival, held July 8, 9 and 10, will be available for purchase at the event.
