Mapstone spent seven summers restoring the ‘Hiawatha Murals,” which are now hanging at Curtin Intermediate School. She has had several one woman shows, exhibited in numerous juried shows, and continues to be recognized as an award-winning artist. A news release said she loves working in PhotoShop, ceramics, stained glass, quilt making and all art media. In addition, she published her first novel, a murder mystery, and is already working on the sequel.
