All aboard! Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions, Milton, returns with classic murder-mystery ‘Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express’

MILTON – Celebrating its 30th year of theater, Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions returns to the stage with the classic whodunit, "Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express."
Set in 1934 and based on the popular Hercule Poirot murder mystery novel by Agatha Christie, and adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, "Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express" brings intrigue, twists and turns, and laughs for the whole family on June 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. and a 2 p.m. matinee performance on June 18 at Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton.
Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. Known as the "King of Trains and Train of Kings," the luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of year, but by the morning, it is one passenger fewer.
An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, detective Hercule Poirot must identify the murderer -- in case he or she decides to strike again!
Bringing this beloved story to life is an incredibly seasoned cast with myriad accents featuring lead actor, Mark Allred, portraying the infamous mustachioed detective, "Hercule Poirot," theater director and pastor Ryan Brosious as "Monsieur Bouc," Christine Hilterman as "Mary Debenham," Seth Confer as "Colonel Arbuthnot" and Cameron Edinger as "Hector MacQueen."
Nathan Crawford doubles as "Head Waiter" and "Michel," Corey Woodcock is "Princess Dragomiroff," Rebekah Richardson is "Greta Ohlsson," Natalie Logan is "Countess Andrenyi," Tara Allred is "Helen Hubbard" and Chris Dailey is "Samuel Ratchett."
Completing the directorial team are Assistant Director Carole Brosious and Junior Director Katie Corbeill, who bring additional leadership and attention to detail to this delightfully complex stage play.
