Deane Center for the Performing Arts’ Free Outdoor Concert series continues in Wellsboro

The Deane Center for the Performing Arts Free Outdoor Concert Series continues at 6 p.m. Friday, on the outdoor stage on the Central Avenue side of the Deane Center building, 104 Main St., Wellsboro.

Featured will be the members of Organ Fairchild performing their own original instrumental music as well as covers by well-known artists, such as the Grateful Dead, Santana and Stevie Wonder.

The group includes Joe Bellanti on organ and keyboards, Corey Kertzie on drums and percussion, and Dave Ruch on guitar.

Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and sit on the grassy area in front of the outdoor stage or on Central Avenue, which will be closed to traffic.

Due to preparations on Friday for Wellsboro Comic Con events in the Deane Center lobby and Coolidge Theatre this Saturday and Sunday, all of the center’s indoor facilities will be in use on Friday. Although weather predictions call for sunshine, should rainy skies prevail, this free concert will be rescheduled.

For more information about the concert series, call the Deane Center at 570-724-6220, email office@deanecenter.com or visit deanecenter.com.
