RiverStage performing ‘Fences’ over next two weekends
LEWISBURG — RiverStage Community Theatre announced in a press release that it will be presenting August Wilson’s “Fences,” the Pulitzer-winning drama about a black American family’s struggles in 1957 Pittsburgh, over the next two weekends.
The performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 5-6, 12-13 and 2:30 p.m. April 14 on stage at the Greenspace Center, 815 Market St.
“This production is dedicated to the memory of our board member, Derek Scott, who passed away last summer, and it features a cast of seven African-American actors from across our area,” the press release said.
