CTL to begin 48th season with ‘Catch Me If You Can’
The Community Theatre League will begin its highly anticipated 48th season on Friday with “Catch Me If You Can,” according to a press release.
This dynamic, high-energy show will transport audiences to the thrilling world of Frank Abagnale Jr., a real-life con artist who bluffed his way through being a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, and a lawyer — all before his 19th birthday.
Directed by Katie Conklin, this lively production is filled with captivating choreography, engaging characters, and a story packed with charm, wit, and redemption.
“We’re beyond thrilled to launch our 48th season with such an exhilarating show,” said Seth Sponhouse, executive artistic director of CTL. “‘Catch Me If You Can’ sets the perfect tone for what we have in store this year — a season full of captivating stories, big moments, and unforgettable performances. We can’t wait for our community to experience the magic of live theatre once again.”
Conklin promises a rollercoaster ride of emotions and excitement.
“This musical is an absolute thrill from start to finish,” she said. “With its fast-paced plot, fantastic music, and heartwarming moments, Catch Me If You Can is a must-see for anyone who loves a great story told through song and dance. The cast has been incredible, and we’re excited to share this journey with our audience!”
The show’s performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11-12, 17-19; and 2 p.m. on Oct. 13 and Oct. 20. For more information or tickets, visit ctlshows.com.
