The Williamsport Symphony Youth Orchestra & Junior Strings Spring Concert — a celebration of the talent, growth, and dedication of young musicians from across our region — will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center, 220 West Fourth Street.

This engaging and dynamic program will feature both ensembles.

The Williamsport Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform selections including “Overture to Oberon” (Weber), Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (Bach, arr.), highlights from “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” (Howard Shore, arr. Whitney), and the iconic “Superman March” (John Williams).

The Williamsport Symphony Junior Strings will present “Swan Lake” (Tchaikovsky, arr.), “The Old Boatman (Florence Price, arr.), and “Bonus Level” (Doug Spata).

The concert will conclude with a special joint performance of “Ancient Echoes of Time” by Douglas Wagner.
