Millbrook Playhouse unveils dynamic 63rd season

MILL HALL – The highly anticipated 63rd Season of Millbrook Playhouse, Central Pennsylvania’s premier professional summer stock theater, was recently announced in a press release.

With over six decades of tradition, the 2026 lineup promises an exhilarating experience with mainstage musicals, intimate cabaret productions, and high-voltage special events, the press release said.

“As an artistic director for a regional theatre in a rural town, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the blend of local youth, actors making their professional debuts, and seasoned veterans all sharing one stage,” said David Leidholdt, Millbrook’s producing artistic director.

A Season of storytelling

The 2026 season kicks off with a thrilling highlight this week, as the Uptown Music Collective will perform on Friday and Saturday. Performing “Back To The Garage: Songs That Rocked The 2000s,” UMC will provide the perfect high-energy start to Millbrook’s summer festivities.

The Ryan Mainstage Series

“ANNIE” (June 19-July 3): Directed by associate producer Ericka Lee Conklin. This production is a true family affair, featuring her father, local clergy, and City Council member Richard L. Conklin, as FDR; and Steve Aguirre, as Oliver Warbucks, performing alongside his 6-year-old daughter, Diana Aguirre, in her stage debut.

“THE WEDDING SINGER THE MUSICAL” (July 10-19): Directed and choreographed by Danny Durr, the director of last fall’s mega-hit “The Rocky Horror Show.”

“MS. HOLMES & MS. WATSON – APT. 2B” (August 14-23): Directed by long-time collaborator Amanda Coffin (“Godspell,” “Gaslight”). This is a modern reimagining of the world’s most famous detective duo.

“DISNEY’S FROZEN THE BROADWAY MUSICAL”

(December 4-December 13): To close out the year, a spectacular holiday treat for the whole family. Featuring a professional cast performing alongside the talented Millbrook Playhouse Youth Ensemble.

The Poorman Cabaraet Series

“BUYER & CELLAR” (June 5-13): Starring Millbrook icon Jackson Pavlik (“Clue,” “The Rocky Horror Show”) and marks the return of director Shannon Agnew, one of Millbrook’s most treasured artists.

“GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL” (July 31-August 9): Celebrating the absurdity of musical theater, directed by master of the Poorman stage, Lawrence Lesher (“Dracula,” “Boeing-Boeing,” “Misery”).
