Saint John’s School of the Arts announces 2026 spring recital schedule
Every spring, Saint John’s School of the Arts joins the community to celebrate the dedication and growth of its young artists. That tradition is more special than ever this year, as Saint John’s kicks off its 2026 Spring Recital Series in honor of the school’s 30th anniversary.
“These performances represent three decades of artistic passion and serve as a wonderful reminder of the talent being nurtured at SOTA with students from Lycoming and surrounding counties,” a press release said. “The recitals are a heartfelt showcase of the hard work and joy our students put into their practice all year long. From the first notes on piano to advanced dance, instrumental, and vocal pieces, these events allow students to step onto the stage and share their progress with the community.
“Celebrating 30 years means honoring our past while cheering on the new talent taking the stage this spring,” added the press release.
The upcoming performance schedule for St. John’s School of the Arts includes its Violin and Viola Recital at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at SOTA Recital Hall; Dance Recital at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Williamsport Area High School; Voice and Youth Chamber Choir at 10:00 a.m. May 30 at SOTA Recital Hall; and Woodwind Recital at 2:00 p.m. May 31 at SOTA Recital Hall.
“We’re very thankful to live in an area that supports the importance of arts education. I hope you will join the students at SOTA as they memorialize our 30th Anniversary with outstanding performances this spring,” said Todd Kendall, director of Saint John’s School of the Arts. “Our students have been exploring what is possible as performers. These recitals give them a chance to share what they have discovered with you.”
