SVC announces upcoming season

The Susquehanna Valley Chorale announced in a press release that its 2024-25 concert season will feature bluegrass, holiday traditions, the revival of a beloved piece, and a pops concert. To kick off the season, the SVC will present, for the second time, “The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass” on Oct. 26-27 at Rusty Rail Brewery in Mifflinburg. “The 35-minute piece is a joyful affirmation of life expressed in sophisticated choral sound and jubilant bluegrass harmonies,” according to the press release. Bloomsburg’s ArtFest returns this weekend

BLOOMSBURG — The 16th annual ArtFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday on Market Street in downtown Bloomsburg, according to a press release.
