Commonwealth University-Mansfield to hold summer music camps for youths

MANSFIELD — Junior high and high school musicians will be able to learn from master music educators at several summer music camps held at Commonwealth University-Mansfield in June and July. Each camp will group participants by age and ability and will provide each with individual and small group instruction in their specific instrument. Hamilton-Gibson Children and Youth spring concert is Sunday

WELLSBORO — The Hamilton-Gibson Children and Youth Choirs Spring Concert will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the First Presbyterian Church, 130 Main St., Wellsboro. “We did not choose a yearlong theme but in the world we live in, we were drawn to the songs that offered hope, and that hope is in recognizing how we are alike,” said choir Director Thomas Putnam, according to a press release announcing the concert. “Many of the songs we’re singing explore our connectedness with each other.
