Mansfield University choirs to perform at Carnegie Hall

MANSFIELD — More than 300 singers from six schools in Pennsylvania will converge in New York City on Sunday to sing at Carnegie Hall, celebrating the life of Martin Luther King Jr. The Mansfield University Concert Choir of 54 members will be given the opportunity of a lifetime to perform on this renowned stage. Nonprofit musical group The Billtown All-Stars will host a charity concert from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday in the Terrace Garden Ballroom at the Genetti Hotel to raise money for the American Heart & Stroke Association.
