Art league to host presentation on ‘plein air’

Beth DeJesus England will give an oil painting from life demonstration from 7 to 8:30 p.m., March 4 at the Taber Museum, 858 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. According to a news release, the public is invited to attend. In addition, she will show her ‘plein air’ oil and watercolor paintings and discussing the process she follows when creating them. Festival continues to release music videos

On Wednesday, the Endless Mountain Music Festival released another free music video. Featured is the award-winning Celtic band Across The Pond. An EMMF audience favorite, this band performed at the festival in 2016, 2017 and 2018. According to a news release, the band’s video performances can be viewed anytime on the EMMF website at www.endlessmountain.net. College plans readings, workshops

Despite the pandemic, Lycoming College keeps its 2020-21 theatre season alive with a series of virtual readings and workshops in February and March. Helming the reading series is Nigel Semaj, who earned a bachelor’s degree in theatre from Lycoming College in 2017, and graduated in 2020 from the New School with an M.F A. in directing. Semaj is a nonbinary New York City-based director, movement director, choreographer and educator, originally from Washington, D.C., who returns to Lycoming College to organize and direct this project.
