Two are better than one
On February 6, Nathaniel Sylvanio and Elizabeth Paulhamus were married by Pastor John H. Phillips. Friends and family gathered at Crossroads Church in Jersey Shore to celebrate with the couple who have been looking forward to this day since their engagement on Christmas Day in 2019. A scripture reading of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 was shared during the ceremony; “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” Despite the wedding reception being cancelled due to COVID, God truly blessed the day.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Edward and Rea (Gross) Paulhamus of Linden. She is employed as a custodian at Family Practice Center.
Nathaniel is the son of William and Dawn (Morton) Sylvanio of Jersey Shore. He is employed as a Fed-Ex delivery driver and serves in the Army National Guard.
The couple resides in Linden with their two energetic kittens, Callie and Hattie.
