Mr. & Mrs. Alex Sullivan celebrate June wedding

Megan Noel Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Austin Moore, of South Williamsport, became the bride of Alex Brennan Sullivan, son of Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Patrick Sullivan, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. The couple were united in marriage at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Williamsport, on June 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. The Reverend Robert J. Antonelli officiated the mass, which was followed by an outdoor garden reception held at The Bush House Estate in Muncy.

Megan is a 2011 graduate of South Williamsport Area High School and a graduate of Clarion University, where she earned her bachelor’s of science and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders. She is currently employed as a licensed speech language pathologist in York County schools.

Alex is a 2012 graduate of Montoursville Area High School and earned his bachelor’s of nursing degree from Penn State University. He completed his master’s and doctorate degrees from York College of Pennsylvania. After completing the CRNA program, he is currently employed as a nurse anesthetist at UPMC Pinnacle, Harrisburg.

Given in marriage by her father, Megan was accompanied by her bridal party: junior maid of honor and sister of the bride, Ella Moore, of South Williamsport; maid of honor Anastasia Laird, of South Williamsport; Sara Churba Beckman, of South Williamsport; Katie Kasanicky Shaffer, of Pittsburgh; Haley Young, of Cherry Creek, Colorado; and Hanah Walters, King of Prussia. Flower girls were Emily Engel and Maizy Shaffer.

Accompanying the groom was best man and brother of the groom, Frank Sullivan of Panama City, Florida; Nolan Moore, of South Williamsport; Duncan Frazier, of Lancaster; Scott Alvarez, of La Quinta, California; Nick Fredin, of Williamsport; and David Batkowski, of Montoursville. Ring bearer was Garrett Loudenslager.

The bride and groom took an extended honeymoon and traveled across the country visiting Montana, Wyoming, Utah and New Mexico, ending their trip in Jensen Beach, Florida, where they were engaged.

The couple is excited to move into their new home together this weekend in York County.
