Jessica Behin Henry and Dalton James Cristini met while attending Penn State University. Little did they know that later when they decided to marry that the COVID-19 pandemic would create the opportunity to enjoy a wedding celebration two times.
Jessica and Dalton, both of Hagerstown, Maryland, decided first to hold a private friends and family wedding. They were united in marriage on Nov. 6, 2020, at the Cumberland County Courthouse in Carlisle. It was a warm beautiful day with an abundance of sunshine to bless their union of marriage. The ceremony was held inside the Cumberland County Courthouse with Judge Masland officiating. An intimate reception followed at Sophia's at Walden in Mechanicsburg.
Jessica and Dalton chose to get married a second time with all their friends and family once the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were lowered.
Jessica and Dalton were united a second time in marriage on Sept. 12, 2021, at the Excelsior venue in Lancaster. It was also a beautiful day to bless their union of marriage a second time. Reverend Dr. David Di Raddo presided over the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Drs. Craig and Fran Henry of Mechanicsburg. The groom is the son of Dan and Laurie Cristini of Montoursville.
The bride was escorted by her father and presented for marriage by her parents. Best friend of the bride, Megan Lawrence, stood as maid of honor. Friends of the bride Alexis Vang, Hanna Leonard, Cherish Eby and cousin of the bride Jaime Wells stood as bridesmaids. Friend of the bride Liana Faramarzi was the flower girl, and she scattered flower petals before the bride was escorted down the aisle.
The groom chose his best friend, Hayden DeWald, to be his best man. Friends of the groom Luke Forrestal and Sean O'Malley along with his brother Jason Cristini and the cousin of the bride Daniel Wells served as groomsmen. Cousin of the bride Thomas Wells was the ring bearer.
The aunt of the bride, Sima Gojgini, was the presenter of the sofreh table, which is an arrangement of symbolic items that tie together to symbolize health, love and good fortune for the couple.
An outdoor cocktail hour and reception followed the ceremony. The couple was very appreciative of all the friends and family that were able to attend the second wedding to commemorate the relationship that they have, along with those who helped them become who they are and who will support them in their future.
The bride graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 2013, received a bachelor's degree in biology from Penn State University in 2017 and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Penn State College of Medicine in 2019. She is employed as a physician assistant at Wellspan Health in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
The groom graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2013 and received bachelor's degrees in mechanical and nuclear engineering from Penn State University in 2018. He is a project manager for Kaempf & Harris Sheet Metal in Frederick, Maryland.
