On Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, Lindsay Van Ness and Gennaro Girardi, both of Williamsport, were united in marriage at the historic Genetti Hotel. The ceremony, on this beautiful fall day, was held in the hotel's Garden Room, officiated by Father Rix Thorsell. A festive celebration immediately followed with a reception of dinner and dancing in the hotel's Grand Ballroom.
Lindsay is the daughter of Laurie Van Ness, of Williamsport. Lindsay is a 2015 graduate of Montoursville Area High School. Lindsay is employed as a senior field operations associate for Aerotek.
Gennaro is the son of Jerry and Patty Girardi, of Williamsport. Gennaro is a 2013 graduate of Williamsport Area High School. He went on to complete a bachelor's of science degree in criminal justice from Lycoming College in 2017. Gennaro is employed as a manager for 4G Delivery Inc.
The maid of honor was Laurin Van Ness, of Williamsport, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brittany Reardon, cousin of the bride, of Sharpesville; Katie Edwards, of Fredericksburg, Va.; Shakeea Horn, of Williamsport; and Jacqueline Day, of Los Angeles.
The best man was Angelo Girardi, of Williamsport, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dylan Bennett and Nicholas Walker, both of Williamsport; Ty Segraves, cousin of the groom, also of Williamsport; and Ian Marshall, of Virginia Beach, Va.
The newlyweds extend their sincere appreciation to all those who shared in their special day.
Following a honeymoon in the spring, the couple will continue to reside in Williamsport.
