Additional sexual-abuse charges have been lodged against Lycoming County Prison inmate Kryshane Goas, 25, of 289 Goas Estates Lane, Montoursville, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Gary Whiteman.
Already behind bars on state police charges of allegedly sexually assaulting a female minor on two occasions on June 13, Goas is now accused of raping a second teenage girl, this time in the backseat of his car while the two were on a date in August 2020, police said in an affidavit. The second alleged attack came to light when the victim came to the state police barracks in Montoursville earlier this month to report it.
The second assault occurred in the area of Warrensville Road in Loyalsock Township, police said. Initially, Goas lied about his age, telling the girl that he was 17, police said. When he told her his real age, "she knew instantly that she did not want to be in the car with him," the arresting state trooper wrote in an affidavit. Goas removed her clothes and held here down by her shoulders and proceeded to rape her, the trooper alleged. During the attack, the girl told him "no," the trooper said. After the assault, Goas told the girl "not to tell anyone what happened or he would kill himself," the trooper said in the affidavit.
From the prison, Goas was arraigned via video on charges of rape, sexual assault, two counts of aggravated indecent assault and one count of indecent assault. He now remains jailed in lieu of an additional $100,000 bail. Jailed since late June, Goas was held for court on the original state police charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated assault and related offenses following a preliminary hearing on July 12 before Whiteman. Bail set in that case was $200,000.
