Seven charged with drug offenses

Crystal Jackson, 50, and Sammie Griner, 53, both of Rochester, New York, have been charged by South Williamsport police with possession with intent to deliver 25 bags of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance following an incident in the 900 block of Market Street in the borough on Dec. 16. Jackson remains jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail while Griner is free on that amount, according to court records.

Courtney Bresnak, 22, of 442 Jordan Ave., Montoursville, has been charged by borough police has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly selling marijuana to another person at her home on Oct. 6, according to court records. When officers later raided her home, they seized seven bags of the controlled substance, weighing 125 grams, police said. She has since waived her preliminary hearing and is free on $15,000 bail.

Jennifer Gibbs, 34, of 674 First Ave., has been charged by state police with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2300 block of Federal Avenue on Aug. 5, court records stated. She has been sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

Aaron Hannah, 36, of 672 Wildwood Blvd., has been charged by the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) with delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy for allegedly selling .54 grams of crack cocaine to an undercover officer in the 500 block of Memorial Avenue in the city on June 10. He is free on $35,000 bail.

Robert W. Cummings, 42, of 478 State St., Jersey Shore, remains behind bars on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines after he allegedly exchanged drugs for a bag of tools from another man at Cummings' home in Nippenose Township about 6 a.m. on Dec. 16, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional police. He is jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Melissa Chirdon, 44, of Harrisburg, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and contraband when she attempted to bring marijuana in the state Correctional Institution at Muncy in Clinton Township when she was being incarcerated there on a state parole violation on Dec. 12, 2020, according to court records filed by state police. She recently waived her preliminary hearing and remains jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
