A former Trout Run woman has been locked up on assault and drug-related charges stemming from an incident on Bittner Park Road in Lewis Township in which she pointed a pellet gun at a man, state police alleged in an affidavit.
Cheryl Ann Sullivan, 42, now living in Lewistown, has been charged with simple assault, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
The victim reported that on the night of Sept. 13, he was sleeping on a couch in the home Sullivan and her boyfriend then occupied. Sullivan first threw a glass at the victim and accused him of taking her marijuana and her pipes, police were told. Sullivan then went to her bedroom and came out with what looked like a handgun and "pointed it at the victim's head and chest," police alleged in the court document. The victim fled the home and went to a neighbor's house, police said. Once police were notified and spoke with the victim, they obtained a search warrant for Sullivan's home, where they seized a pellet gun, a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. Following her arraignment Wednesday before District Judge William Solomon, she was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
