A Cogan Station man is jailed in Union County after allegedly shaking a 5-month-old child at an
Allenwood residence, according to WNEP's website. Owen Moore claims he "lightly" shook the child
as the infant was choking on formula, but a medical doctor told State Police out of Milton that his claims were inconsistent with the child's injuries.
Moore, 30, is jailed and charged with felony aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of
a child, according to The Daily Item of Sunbury. He
was arraigned before District Judge Jeff Mensch and jailed on $25,000 cash bail.
The child is still receiving treatment from Geisinger Medical Center, according to troopers and the Sunbury newspaper.
