Todd Allen Babb, 49, of 60 N. Mohawk Drive, Hughesville, has been locked up on state police charges for allegedly raping a mentally disabled woman overnight May 9, according to court records obtained at the office of District Judge Denise Dieter.
The alleged attack occurred in Muncy Creek Township, police said. Babb, formerly of the first block of Arch Street in Williamsport, has been charged with felony rape of a mentally disabled person, felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a mentally disabled person and indecent assault of a mentally disable person, a misdemeanor, police said.
Following his arraignment this week before Dieter, Babb was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $85,000 bail.
