Lycoming Township man charged with sexual abuse of children

Allen Lee Kulp Jr., 49, of 3731 Lycoming Creek Road Trailer #15, Lycoming Township, was arrested by Old Lycoming Township Police after a search warrant was executed at about 8 a.m. at his trailer on Thursday morning.

Members of Old Lycoming Township Police, Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police and Lycoming County District Attorney's office executed the search warrant, which was for the home to search for and seize electronic devices that may contain evidence of sexual abuse of children.

After receiving no answer at the door, officers announced their presence and forced their way into the trailer, where they found Kulp Jr.

Kulp Jr. was taken into custody on two felony arrest warrants for offenses involving sexual abuse of children and indecent assault. The incidents involve two children.

Electronic devices were seized from Kulp Jr.'s residence and will be sent away for forensic examination.

Kulp Jr. was charged with six counts of sexual abuse of children, two counts of indecent assault and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor and indecent exposure.

Kulp Jr. was arraigned in front of District Magisterial Judge William Solomon and committed to Lycoming County Prison and denied bail.
