State police charge local contractor

By Philip A. Holmes 1 min read

Criminal charges have been lodged against contractor Albert Zeitler of "No Boundaries Construction" after he failed to complete work on remodeling a bathroom last year for Deanna Beckett at her home at 1635 Route 442, lot 26, in Muncy Creek Township, state police alleged in court papers. Soon after flooding destroyed her bathroom in May 2021, Beckett hired and signed a contract with Zeitler and paid him $1,750 to put in a new bathroom, police said.

Zeitler, 37, of 819 Park Ave., "demolished the existing bathroom, but has never returned" to complete the project, police alleged in court papers filed in March. Charged with theft by deception, failure to perform services after receiving advance payment and making false statements, Zeitler is free on $5,000 bail after waiving his preliminary hearing.
